“3D Printing Artforms in Nature” is a collection inspired by the biologist and scientist Ernst Haeckel’s scientific work, who discovered, described and named thousands of new species that had never been identified before. He produced artworks, multi-colour illustrations of animals and sea creatures that were edited into a book “Kunstformen der Natur” in 1904, containing over 100 lithographic prints.
The collection “3D Printing Artforms in Nature” includes necklaces, bracelets and earrings. All pieces are 3D printed in SLS Nylon with applications of sterling silver, freshwater pearls, sea bamboo and peridot beads.
